Longyearbyen Camping provides our guests the following services:

• Mongolian yurt
  If you love to stay close to the Arctic nature, but camping in a tent is just to basic for you... We have a Mongolian yurt to rent out. It offers lots of space, and comfortable beds, you just need to bring a sleepingbag - or rent one from us. It belongs to the Polish mountaineer Piotr Śliwiński, which makes it extra special.
• Area for setting up tent
  Free of charge as long as the service building is locked all day (off-season, without facilities), otherwise (season) against payment of the overnight stay price per person.
• Kitchen and eating room
  The pleasant cooking and eating room with its panorama windows is equipped with simple kitchen facilities and tables and benches for about 40 persons. Cutlery, pots, pans, plates and utilities are available for use. A huge wall map of the archipelago inspires planning and the exchange of tour experiences between guests. A major attraction is the great view both onto the bird lagoon on the other side of the road and over large parts of Isjorden onto the mountains and glaciers on its far side.
• Bathrooms
  Each bathroom is equipped with a long sink with several tabs for warm and cold water, a toilet and two shower cabins. The use of bathrooms is included in the overnight price, only warm water for the showers has to be paid extra via the purchase of tokens for a slot machine which steers the warm water supply (5 minutes per token).
• Toilets
  Beside the bathrooms, there are four toilets accessible from the outside.
  Off-season, there is no water, so please use the beach.
• Rental of tents, sleepingbags and insulation mats (for use on the campsite, only) and a few bikes.
• Sale of some kiosk articles
  Souvenirs, postcards, books, etc.
• Booking of excursions via the campsite attendant.
• Arctic Naked Bathing Club Certificate
  
  For dedicated polar swimmers (and those who would like to be that), Longyearbyen is exactly the right place, because since summer 2008, we issue our Longyearbyen Camping Arctic Naked Bathing.
  The conditions are simple: a full dive and some swimming strokes in the sea from our nice pebble beach into the Advent Fjord, - of course naked, witnessed by the campsite staff! Out again, get dry and dress quickly, rush back to the service building for a warm shower. The shower coin is a free extra from us to the successful candidates, as well as the certificate documenting the achievement.

• Possibility of storing items temporarily (only during season) under the building (no guarantees or liability on our side).
• Disposal of garbage, originating from stays on the campsite and sorted by the guests into the containers for the various waste types.
